I have 13 years of prior experience as a volunteer counselor at church providing individual counseling services. Starting in 2020, I started my formal licensing process and added Christian counseling with individuals, couples and families. Together, we weave faith into their counseling journey and mental health treatment plan.
My favorite sections of scripture include 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (the "love" chapter), which is how I strive to conduct myself in all things. I have also found incredible comfort and hope in Isaiah 43, in which God promises to carry us through all things and not let us be swept away, destroyed, or left on our own. We are instructed to bear our burdens to one another in His Word, and I am honored to be invited to do that with each of my clients.
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT #148148), and I hold a Master's Degree in Counseling from Cal State Fullerton.
