I have 13 years of prior experience as a Biblical counselor at church providing individual counseling services. Starting in 2018, I started my formal education & licensing process. I now offer Christian counseling for individuals, couples and families going through cancer. I enjoy weaving faith into my counseling approach and mental health treatment plan.
My favorite sections of scripture include 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (the "love" chapter), which is how I strive to conduct myself in all things. I have also found incredible comfort and hope in Isaiah 43, in which God promises to carry us through all things and not let us be swept away, destroyed, scorched, or left on our own. We are instructed in His Word to bear one another's burdens and to rejoice and cry alongside our fellow brothers & sisters in Christ. I am honored to be invited to do that with each of my clients.
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT #148148), and I hold a Master's Degree in Counseling from Cal State Fullerton.
