When a family member receives a cancer diagnosis, the entire family system is affected. My approach centers on your faith in Christ + medical family therapy, which takes the illness into consideration during all aspects of the counseling process.

I love working with loving families who genuinely want to get through challenges together, get along better, and grow closer. Together, we will work through relationship problems, major milestones, communication issues, and conflict. I offer faith-based, Christian counseling to help you grow together as a family.

For local families within a specific radius, I can come out to you and meet with you at home. Medical appointments, discomfort from illness or treatment, and other logistics can often get in the way of families being able to come to an office to meet me for counseling sessions. This is one of the many ways that treatment with me is unique: I can come to you.

Family therapy works best when all family members are present, but it isn't a requirement for therapy to be successful. The family is a system that functions as a unit, and when one or more family members begins to make changes, it can disrupt the entire system and lead to overall change. The road to more harmony can get bumpier before it gets smoother, but it's well worth the ride!
